⭐ One Star – Disappointing Experience with Balgores, Romford

I had a disappointing experience with Balgores after making an offer on a property on Sheringham Avenue. I decided not to proceed because I had concerns about the railway line behind the house and wanted to make the right decision before committing to such a big purchase.

I was unhappy with the way I was spoken to after withdrawing my offer. What disappointed me most was being told that Balgores would not show me any other properties because I had decided not to buy this one.

I understand that withdrawing an offer can be frustrating for an estate agent, but buying a house is a major commitment, and I believe buyers should be able to make their own decisions without being treated this way.

Unfortunately, my experience has put me off using Balgores again.

Had a valuation booked in. No one showed up or called. Had to chase them and ask where they were. Apparently hadn’t been put in the system. Still waiting for the associate director to call me back to reschedule. Definitely won’t be using to sell my property.

We cannot recommend Balgores Upminster highly enough! As first-time buyers, getting the keys to our first home feels like a dream come true, and we are incredibly grateful for the support and professionalism we have received throughout our journey.

From day one, Abbie was absolutely fantastic — warm, approachable, professional and always happy to answer our million questions with patience and kindness.
