This is my 2nd time of using Balgores. Previously for a house sale and this time to rent a property. On both occasions I have had a good experience. Communication has been frequent the use of text messages for notification of viewings I have found helpful along with the regular updates and catch ups with the agent (Nikola Tokarska Dagenham office)

Firstly I’d like to thank Reece from the Hornchurch Branch. Reece was absolutely fantastic. Reece found my partner and I a home within a few days and we moved in a week later. Really simple process, always on hand to help with any questions even at 10pm at night. Reece thank you for all your help with finding us a home and making the process so simple. You were truly amazing!

Everyone involved in the sale to completion service has been very professional and pleasant. It may cost a little more but it is worth it. Chris took the lead and was very well supported by Ryan, Ricky and Abbie. They managed all viewings and provided an update after each one. They continually provided good advice and secured a sale STC within 4 weeks of the property going on the market. From that point on, Donna took control and chased all key stakeholders to exchange several weeks later. Just like the sales team, she continued to provide status updates. I would have no hesitation in recommending Balgores Upminster, to anyone looking to sell, buy or rent in the area.

Misleading Practices and Breach of Regulations

I’m extremely disappointed with Balgores- Hornchurch’s handling of a property we intended to purchase . Despite being told to sign the agreement by Arif the property was sold to someone else by Bradley. This wasted our time and caused significant stress, especially since the property was meant to be our first marital home before our wedding in August.

The agent created a bidding war despite Bradley mentioning on the first viewing, they don’t want bidding wars and gave the ‘golden number’ of what offer we should place. This placed undue pressure on us, and breached the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. Their actions were unfair and misleading.

It was disheartening as the day we came to sign the documents our expectations completely changed. With no prior warning to the viewing after being spoken to, we were not notified until we arrived at the property. It was deeply saddening and frustrating to myself and my fiancée.

I have contacted Balgores regarding this issue but it is best to share my experience with the public.

Avoid Balgores Hornchurch if you want a smooth and honest transaction.

I was able to find the right property to let thanks to Michael Charles. My wife and I were searching for a few months for the right place and I had contacted Michael about one of the properties I saw being advertised by Balgores. Sadly, we missed out on that apartment but Michael was keen to provide me with a few other options. The day before our scheduled viewing, I got a courtesy call to remind me of the viewing but he also provided some good news of a similar apartment that was just coming on the market. Needless to say, we viewed it, we liked it, we got the keys and we are now in the process of moving in 😁.
