Well with Ashton being Tenents they will do what can be done to make landlords happy and to keep the property with Ashton Agents.
Being a mother of three kids I myself helped my husband to clean the property to the highest standards better then the way Ashton gave us and still they claimed for cleaning charges. We were not given the property with professional and that high standards.
Where was the independent check out clerk when we were moving in. He should do walk with us if the house in our presence when we were checking out the property.
How could he assess the property with pictures where my husband told Charellote in the beginning that pictures taken in inventory book does not reflect the reality. I have attached some pics can’t put the videos for your references at this time as Google don’t allow videos but pictures only.
so be careful while having rental property with them. They are professionals to support only landlord but when time will come you will face what we faced with them loosing deposit and which they call independent party but infact they will emboss charges which you will not expecting.
Their inventory reports are fishy so do not sign them unless you walk through the property yourself with one of your agent.
We left the property well cleaned better then they gave us , there were belongings from landlord or previous tenents in shed which they wanted us to remove at the end of the tenancy where there was nothing belong to us. How could we throw someone’s stuff sitting in the shed. Isn’t Shame they want us to remove and charged and claimed that those things which they called rubbish but in-fact that was use able things of previous tenants before us and some of them were landlords,
Landlord knew that but he used Ashton and charge me for the removals and cut money from my deposit and cleaning where they gave us damped moulded walls which we cleaned.
We did not damage anything infact Ashton contractor broke the toilet tub to check the ceiling and they charged from us.
Kitchen toilet living room dining room front garden back garden bed rooms we cleaned to higher standards and Ashton helped landlord to make him happy and landlords foul claim’s to keep the property with them and to make more money out of them by giving property on higher rent.

They will only support landlord to get DPS deposit as much as they can with the help of their inventory so think 100 times before taking rental property with them. Or take the property if you want trouble and want to loose your deposit at the end of your tenancy.
Not recommended and please beware of Ashton Estates. This might help you others as my experience with them was horrible!
In simple they have no shame and will never accept their mistake. Shame on Ashton Estate Agents! Rediculous nightmares for tenants never trust them!

Be aware of Ashton Estate Chadwell Heath! Being Tenent they will take all your deposit.
They will only support landlords and whatever he will ask them to detect they will support the landlord only and you will loose maximum of your deposit.
So be careful from them they are landlord friendly not tenant. As they make money from landlords properties and tenents are just number from them. Avoid Ashton my personal experience as being tenent with them.
O yes! their contractor may break property also but they will charge and take money from your deposit so be careful with their contractors and handy man also.
Not Recommended at all! If you want to loose your deposit and want to have trouble get rental property from them.
I wish I could give them 0 stars but have to give one star to proceed with the reviews and our experience.
Property was cleaned thoroughly, rubbish was not rubbish that was left over from the previous tenants and the landlord which we are not responsible! Already issue was with property about leakage and they charged from us by providing false inventory.
Be careful with their inventory also as this does not show what they have and use at the end to make landlords happy and to keep their property with them again!

This is the 2nd property we have bought through Ashtons. In all honesty their service has surpassed my expectations. The process was made clear at the begining, and they were there everytime i needed any advice. Our finance took longer than expected, but they were patient and understanding. I would like to specifically call out Sian Watson who was exceptionally helpfull and understanding.

Michael from Balgores Brentwood is beyond a dream to liaise with. Having dealt with many estate agents, I can safely say he is one of the best out there. He is efficient, trustworthy, honest, open, kind, caring, considerate, compassionate the list goes on. He goes out of his way to help you. I would like to thank Michael for everything he has done for us and even though we ended up purchasing a property through another agent, he was kind enough to sit there and listen about the other property, wish us luck and offer advice, whereas other estate agents can’t wait to get off the phone and are very rude once you no longer require their services. Balgores, Brentwood you have an absolute gem and you are extremely lucky to have him as part of your team.

Michael followed up on all calls and validated offers to confirm serious buyers. Will definitely use Balgores again.

Balgores have kept in touch with me ever since I bought a house through them over 5 years ago, as I told them at the time we were always planning on moving in a few years. Prior to instructing them on the sale of my current house in 2023 they have always been helpful and responded on any questions I had about the general market. I can not recommend Starr highly enough. From start to finish she was truly unbelievable in helping us find a rental last minute….
