These guys have helped with the sales of 2 properties for our family now. Honestly can’t recommend them more. They’ve just done a probate sale for us, they’ve been respectful and kind the whole way through, and i couldn’t be more grateful.

Sian helped us immensley during our selling process. Extremely dilligent & proactive throughout the process. Relaying information too & from our buyer, thus keeping the wheels in motion. Also keeping on top of both sets of solicitors ensuring little to no delay in the flow of information.
As we were aware from previous experience solicitors can be a little laid back & relaxed when it comes to dealing with house sales & purchases.
Sian maintained a reasonable amount of pressure on both sets of solicitors throughout.
Our sale was concluded in a faster than hoped for time & we are sure that this was largely due to Sians professional, knowledgeable approach to the whole process.
Thanks so much for your help, this could have been a tricky one to get over the line without you.

Watch out for this agent they accept multiple offers and encourage mortgage race. Have lost out several times due to my mortgage offer coming through a couple of after a supposed other offer. Even if true I consider it highly unethical to accept multiple offers on a single property. Will never deal this agent again would encourage others to do the same

The staff are so friendly and considerate. They do little things to make you feel welcome and appreciated. They clearly care about their customers and are happy to go out their way to show this. It’s scenic and peaceful, the perfect place to have a drink with some friends. Highly recommended.

Estate agent wasn’t very friendly, we got hanged up on and we are being forced off our rented property for not moving to central London, P. S sort the service out cause I won’t ever recommend this place ever, even to my family

I have been with Balgores for two years now. My experience with everyone in the various teams, whether in the Dagenham Branch, or elsewhere, have been very positive. For my most recent experience, as a landlord, id like to thank the Dagenham Team, especially Danny. He has been very prompt, polite, responsive, and eager to help. I reached out to him on Friday evening out of office hours, and he responded. He was helpful in guiding me through the licensing process. Id also like to thank the wider team. There is such positive and collaborative approach to their work. Danny is definitely a 5 star.

I had a very poor experience with a certain individual from Ashton Estate Agents. The branch manager Keith.
I would have given 1 star. However, Francis was lovely and was honest in all our conversations.

I had viewed a property with Ashton and decided to place an offer. The first offer got rejected and i was told there is someone else who has put in a higher offer. I was told i’m in a “race” with another potential buyer so i need to up my offer quick or risk losing it so i decided to go for the price asked by the estate agent. After 5 days, i called the branch regarding a query and decided to ask if the other person had increased their offer, i was told by another colleague that there were no other offers. It was only me. When i asked Keith about this, his response was “Oh was there not? i thought there was”

I then get a call after a few more days and get told the property is not “chain free” as advertised but it is actually “tenants in situ”
I had asked Keith to confirm if the tenants will be leaving before or by the completion date. His answer was “Have some faith, how can you be asking these questions so early on”

I had called the branch a month later to ask if i can get a few dates for my surveyor to come in. Keith’s response “Get him to go tomorrow, i cant promise you any other dates. If you really want this property, you need to move on it fast”
As a first time buyer, i had no idea how these things worked so i had to persuade a Surveyor to go the very next day. Once the survey came back, there were a few major issues on the report which i pointed out to Keith. I had asked if he could kindly speak to the seller and see if they can reduce the price. He called back within a minute and said ” I’m sorry, we can’t go lower. As you know, i did you a favour by getting your offer accepted at £490,000, you have to be serious about this property” I then released some of my frustration and he then said he “Sympathises” with first time buyers. Load of rubbish.

Once my mortgage was approved, i was passed on to Francis who had been amazing throughout the process.

I was given a completion date. Unfortunately, after 6 months of waiting, the tenants did not leave and i had lost out on roughly £2500 with solicitors and survey costs.

As a first time buyer, your experience of buying a house should be a positive one. Unfortunately, Keith left a very sour taste and even though he may have “years of experience” he needs to change his approach drastically. It’s not right to take advantage of first time buyers.

Michael was great from beginning to end, he was informative, quick to respond and very helpful. As a first time buyer he put my mind at ease and helped me feel relaxed about the whole buying process. Things have moved really quickly and the whole process from offer to complete has taken just over 3 months! Thank you Michael!

The Balgores team were professional, insightful and helpful from the beginning. They supported us with the sale and purchase and knew exactly what we wanted. The in-house sales co-ordinator Marie could not have done anymore when it came to closing the the final stages. She went above and beyond and did not back down or hide away when push came to shove.

Although we exchanged on a property with Ashton, when we started our house hunt in early 2022 (when there was more competition for houses due to lower rates), we really disliked their practice of crowding out houses with potential buyers, and especially, having multiple buyers enter into a mortgage offer + survey race which introduced so much anxiety to the process. Unless they correct this, we would not recommend using Ashton.

We were previously a long-standing landlord, letting through Balgores. When we needed to sell the property, Jack and Gosia and team were there to help us during the process. They went above and beyond to check the property was in good order whilst it was empty and awaiting sale. They were proactive in their approach, and we valued their patience and tenacity in guiding us through, despite a few challenges along the way! We highly recommend Balgores.

Scheduled viewing at property cancelled due to tennant getting covid. Agreed we would look to reschedule for the weekend if possible, but was left with them to contact me for when I can view.

I am not told they have an offer accepted.

Been a pleasure dealing with Balgores for my move. Jake Coldwell has extremely helpful and I can’t thank him enough for his work to swiftly get everything done. For a process which can be quite stressful, Jake and Balgores have made it extremely easy and I couldn’t recommend them enough.
