I have had a nightmare experience of moving , for nearly two years .

Joe Lambert at Balgores Brentwood has been amazing throughout our house purchase. My partner and I work long days and often aren’t available until 6pm to take phone calls and reply to emails. The Balgores team at Basildon did a fantastic job for us in selling our property. James Gibbon was excellent in his strategy to sell our home. He and his colleague Mark were professional and skilled. Thanks to their strategy and expertise we sold at over the asking price. The team which then actioned the sale was equally as skilled. Sarah Oakley is a highly effective communicator. She’s an expert information handler and she kept us informed of the selling process throughout. When things did not go according to plan Sarah was calm and sorted out the issues in a professional way. She always replied to our emails and responded clearly to our questions. Finally, James negotiated the purchase of our new home. He’s a very good negotiator and we ended up paying significantly less than the asking price. Thanks James, Mark and Sarah – you made a smooth process of what could have been a stressful time.

Recently viewed a house and rented it through Balgores Upminster,, Mark was great very helpful with any queries I had, couldn’t fault the service, would definitely recommend using Balgores Upminster to anyone in the future.

Wouldn't hesitate to use Ongar Balgores Again.

Billy has been a absolute God send to me during the selling of my property, not only did he explain the full process he went above and beyond with providing support with calling my solicitor to trace documents when I didn't have the time to, without him I truly believe the full process would have been very stressful.

Edmund also from the Ongar Branch was also always there to help if Billy was out the office and always returned my call with any answers to my questions.

All the Ongar staff are really lovely people and not your typical Estate Agent type.

The only thing I would say is I would like to see Billy take on more of a senior role within Balgores he really is a asset to the company I wouldn't want to hear you have lost him to a competitor.

Great service, very professional and friendly at the same time. We dealt with Mark Claxton, who is a very nice person, always quick in answering my phone calls, even late at night. He was very helpful and tried his best to help us out. Would definitely recommend the agency to family and friends.

Balgores Hayes did a better job than the solicitors!!

From first contact with Joe and Michael they help me from start to finish, always updating me with the development of the sale of my property, much more I can be said than solicitors appointed.

Just completed our sale with Balgores Basildon. During initial sales period for viewings etc Joseph was friendly, professional and helpful. Once we had sold Sarah took over communication with us we felt she went above and beyond to work hard for the sale to go through as we had a lot of complications along the way. Sarah was in constant communication with us and kept us informed at every point of sale.

Gavin and his team were professional and helpful throughout a protracted process which was beyond their control. They showed determination to follow it through to the end. Their communication was good. Louise, the sales progressor, was a pleasure to deal with too.

Balgores were lovely from start to finish. Conner was very prefessional and very friendly. I was a first time buyer so had lots of questions and he was always happy to take the time to explain things to me and make the whole process a lot less stressful!

It wasn't easy in the current climate to sell but I felt totally involved and looked after by the entire team at Balgores. JH was the first contact but JL, Michael and Peter and the rest of the team kept trying hard for us and eventually we all got the result we wanted.

I can't recommend them highly enough and rest assured it may not go as quickly as you want, but that's not their fault. They do work incredibly hard, keep you updated and work in your best interest by giving you sound advice.

The initial meeting with JH was professional and friendly. Once he had secured our signature to use Balgores, without being asked we started to be looked after by other members of staff . I was at home twice when Balgores turned up unannounced and let themselves in to find out later they had forgotten to confirm a show around.
We were lied to on numerous occasions once our property had been sold, fortunately we knew one of the new owners who confirmed what they had told us was not true.
We were also given very bad advice regarding renting a home, we were told not to start looking until 2 weeks before completion which has left us homeless
Their renting department is worse than their buy/selling dept, we never once heard back from them.
I tried complaining to JH but have heard nothing for 2 weeks so have no other option but to leave negative feedback here

James and his team were more than Estate Agents to my mother and father in law. Throughout the toughest of times their james' support was incredible. My father in law was dying and the sale of the house was so important to him in order to have his wife settled in their new home before he passed. Knowing this James and his team worked so hard for them. They became an amazing support and consistently went beyond the role of estate agents in helping them. When we lost dad James visited my mother Iaw and brought flowers… genuinely saddened. Amazing amazing service and I cannot thank the team enough for all they did
