Michael and Caroline provided an excellent service in securing our mortgage for our new property. We have had lots of ups and downs and they have been very patient. Caroline was relentless in trying to push our sale and purchase through for us and find out information from all parties. It was a complete and polished service. We would highly recommend Michael and Caroline.

I have to admit that I started with a low opinion of Estate Agents. However, the service and support we received during our sale process (first time for 37 years), was very special. Nic Lindsell was professional and understanding. He has a friendly charm and knows just when to intervene and when to leave you alone. Sarah Barnard is an exceptional person and it is in this area where Balgores features very strongly. I have often felt that professionals, dealing with property sales and purchases every day, forget that their clients are experiencing utmost stress. Sarah displays great empathy, support and encouragement. She saw us through the difficult times when uncertainty reigned supreme. Her calmness and reassurance as well as her eagerness to tackle the problems for us are great qualities.

I have brought and sold a property through Balgores this month. I would like to thank Billy from the Hornchurch Branch who assisted me in buying my property. From meeting Richard Burns at tge Upminster branch, the service I received from the team at Balgores was outstanding, it wasn’t like I was selling and buying property, everything was done for me and I didn’t experience any stress. This was my first property purchase, so going in I was understandably a little nervous and unsure. I didn’t really know what to expect, but the team at Balgores were amazing the whole way. I never felt like I was left alone to deal with anything, I could always call and double check what I was about to sign, or what something meant if I was unsure. There were a few issues with lenders, solicitors and banks, but I never felt that it was anything that they couldn’t deal with calmly and quickly. All in all the entire process became much more relaxed and straightforward than I had imagined going in and I only have the team to thank for that.

All staff were very helpful – I mention Sean as he showed the buyers round, but Tim and Ryan were also very professional. We were kept informed and received feedback on viewings. The star is Sarah though. Her work on progressing the sale, chasing solicitors, advising on progress throughout the chain is excellent, very useful and reassuring!

From initial consultation until completion on both purchasing and selling of properties we have found the Balgores team at Upminster extremely helpful and competent. Dealing mainly with Richard and to a lesser extent Paul questions and problems were immediately dealt with and if these gentlemen were out of the office other members of the team always promptly forwarded messages etc or dealt with things themselves–a great team.Would not hesitate to recommend them to other people. 5 star service from trustworthy, hardworking and motivated people.

Richard is one of those rare breeds of a genuine Estate Agent. He is professional, pro-active and dealt with all our queries efficiently. Moving house is a very stressful situation and Richard at Balgores made this whole process much more bearable. I would definitely use Balgores again.

Trevor was honest and fair from the first time we met him. He gave us realistic expectations of how quick we would sell our property and was spot on. When our fist buyer pulled out he did his best to find us another buyer and we managed to sell again 48 hours later. He is extremely friendly and approachable and always willing to go the extra mile.
Sarah was amazing. She updated me pretty much everyday with our progress and was always one step ahead. Without her help I doubt we would have met our tight deadline to exchange. Nothing ever seemed to much and even though I must have drove her nuts with my daily emails she was always there to help. Overall the Balgores team have been a pleasure to work with. The team quickly found a buyer for my property and from then Sarah Oakley has gone above and beyond what I would have expected of an agent. I have no doubt that without Sarah being ‘on the case’ , liasing with all parties involved, the process would have taken much, much longer. We found Balgores Hayes when originally looking for a property that was on their books, whilst we didn’t end up buying that property, but did purchase another and sell the family home. We had the pleasure of working with both Joe Hayes and Ben Spray through a process of months and have been extremely impressed throughout. They where courteous and patient with my husbands parent who where in their 80’s and alleviated their fears of selling and viewings. Whilst the process was at times complicated they truly understood our needs, aided us in downsizing and finding a property we feared didn’t exist. They have been exceptional in every way and come with our highest recommendation.

We sold our property through Balgores and also purchased our new property through them too. The experience on every element of our sale/buy was fantastic, from all members of staff we spoke to. We received weekly updates which were very helpful in keeping us updated with each aspect, and the current position on each. The entire team were very pleasant, polite and helpful at all times. It’s difficult to name just one person of exception as Simon Long was very supportive, Kish Oogarah did multiple viewings and for each and every one he was enthusiastic and precise. Danny Woodhouse was equally as impressive as was the remaining team members that I spoke to or met. I wouldn’t hesitate in using Balgores again and would most definitely recommend them to anyone that asks. Well done Balgores Romford team you were brilliant!

I would like to place on record my grateful thanks for all the support, professional help and kindness shown in the recent sale of my property .
Achieving the sale was a long winded drawn out transaction through no fault of Balgores, the solicitor and I, and was only achieved by the perseverance of those who was involved.

Both Michael and Caroline have been absolutely brilliant throughout the process of us getting a mortgage. If either of them said they would call us on a certain date or time, they always kept to their word and had all the information we needed. They are both friendly and kind people and made us feel comfortable from the start of the mortgage process all the way until the end. Even after we were settled in to our home they made a conscious effort to contact us to find out how we are and how we are getting on. As first time buyers, we didnt know very much about mortgages and everyone at Balgores have been massively helpful and we couldnt thank them enough for all their help- especially Michael and Caroline who had to put up with us through it all!

We have recently concluded a house purchase via Balgores Basildon, the team were excellent.
James Gibbon & Trevor Crowe were professional & helpful, as i expected due to previous meetings.
What i didn’t expect was the tremendous support from Sarah Oakley in the office, she was pro-active in maintaining contact with all parties & keeping us in the loop at all times, Sarah made a potentially difficult time as simple as possible, i thank her & recommend her to anybody buying or selling.

Firstly Richard Burns was the only agent out of 4 that arrived fully prepared, having done his research on the house, it’s location and brought along printed materials for us. Paul managed our house sale and sold it within two,weeks. He communicated regularly and sent us email updates on what was happening in the chain. Completion was a nightmare, at 4pm we were still waiting for confirmation that funds had been transferred on a day when one solicitor in the chain had their Christmas party and couldn’t be contacted. Paul went out of his way to find out why funds hadn’t transferred and kept us fully informed – he discovered more information than our solicitor! I’ve sold 3 houses and Paul and Richard are the most professional agents I have employed and restored my faith in estate agents. It’s a shame I’ve moved out of the county as I can’t employ them next time. I can’t recommend Richard and Paul enough.

We used Balgores Hayes to purchase and sell a property. We found to whole service provided to be first rate with Ben Spray being extremely responsive and proactive. Would I recommend or use them again? the simply answer has to YES and without question.
